Welcome to Ayr & District Model Flyers Website

We are a small group of aeromodellers with various interests that include fixed wing power, free flight, helicopters and control line. We have an excellent flying site located in the Carrick Hills in Ayrshire with beautiful views and scenery overlooking the South Ayrshire countryside. The flying site has no noise/flying restrictions.

Beginners are always welcome and expert tuition is available from our experienced Instructors. The club trains and encourages novices to gain the SAA (Scottish Aeromodellers Association) bronze certificate in the SAA safety achievement scheme with the aim to fly solo without supervision.  Above is a picture of our flying site.
