Welcome to the new ADMF (Ayr & District Model Flyers) web site formally Girvan Model Club. With very few members now coming from the Girvan area a decision was made at the 2006 AGM to change the name of the model club as most of the members now come from Ayr and the surrounding area and it was deemed appropriate to change the identity of the club hence ADMF (Ayr & District Model Flyers). The committee decided that the club should also have a new logo to give the club a new identity. It was decided that the new logo would be included on new club merchandise which consists of a cap, V or crew necked jumper, polo neck shirt and fleece all of which can be ordered and supplied from Kylemark via the club secretary. To celebrate the new name change all club members should now have been sent a cap. Special thanks must go to both Harry Cruickshank for designing the new logo and arranging with Kylemark to supply the club with the new merchandise and James Stewart for distributing the first orders. From now on we will be able have an identity to show off our new logo on our new merchandise at SAA and local model club events.
